this game is so fun wizards and knights are classic i like that u used them for this game. It was easy to play and learn but hard to master. truly good work
I love the improvements made from the beta version last week! Was curious how the other levels would look like and they look great! The aesthetics, concept, including the game description really set the knight and dungeon theme well! When I died on the second level with two lives left, I wasn't quite sure how to get the knight back onto the screen. Maybe it's an issue with setting up wall colliders? Otherwise fun game
I love the overall aesthetic, the font choice and the assets drawing are very cohesive. The detail that you can pick up the sword feels nice, if you can pick up the shield and use it to block the bullets might be another nice feature to add. I think if you don't want to add the blocking mechanism, maybe you want to adjust the enemy shooting frequency, now it shoots at a high rate and there is no way to dodge. Or you can make the enemy shoots in a certain pattern, and let the player figure out the right timing to dodge. Looking forward to see your live demo next class!
This is fun to play! Tho I died several times because I thought I have to fight the mage. The illustrations are cool and I like how you made the ladder to the next level, so it feels like we are in the castle or dungeon. It would be great to have some background music or sounds from platforms or the mage. Also, maybe the jumping is a bit high? Or you can also widen the surroundings, so the player can have some space to jump and walk. Some more traps or new enemies might be working as well. And it would be cool to see the actual princess in the end!
Thanks!
